Membership Benefits
The goal of FACE is to promote, advocate, and empower high-quality music education for all students in Fairfax County Public Schools. FACE works with the FCPS School Board, performing arts teachers, and community members to promote the maintenance and growth of the performing arts in FCPS, including advocating for funds in the yearly budget, helping teachers gain access to high-quality training and support, and advocating for the importance of music education in the community.
As a FACE member, your benefits include:
quarterly newsletter with advocacy materials;
access to the members-only section of our website, which is updated regularly with materials you can use in your classroom;
updates concerning the FCPS school board and budget process;
the chance to have your voice heard at FCPS School Board meetings and more!
All instrumental or secondary choral teachers in FCPS are automatically a member of FACE, no payment necessary! All you have to do to stay updated on our advocacy efforts and receive FREE access to our member materials (such as private teacher lists, sub plans, etc) is fill out the membership information form. Community and student members are invited to join with a suggested donation of $20.
