The Fairfax County Band Directors Association is a committee of FACE which represents the interests of FCPS Band directors. Among other programs, the committee provides the following services for its members:

  • organize professional learning opportunities;

  • organize social events;

  • organize awards for outstanding teaching;

  • organize a solo competition for FCPS students;

  • advocate to the FCPS school board for fully funded programs.
